No more silly 4 leg parlays! We are doing just fine with straight bets... So anyway, here's my 5 leg parlay for tonight! (Just kidding, but I will definitely be tempted at some point tonight I am sure). There are a lot of games tonight, and I am a firm believer of playing light when possible, but there is just too much to choose from tonight!
Columbus / Montreal ov6.5 total goals (-120) 1.25 units
Montreal looked AWFUL last night defensively, giving up 3 goals in nearly 2 minutes and 30 seconds after the puck drop against the Buffalo Sabres... Meanwhile, Columbus is in offensive shootouts every night. 6 out of their last 6 games, the Blue Jackets have been involved in games where the total amount of goals exceeded 6.5 total goals. 21 total goals allowed in the last 5 games is the icing on the cake.
Rob Thomas ov0.5 points @ Buffalo (-140)
Sometimes -140 isn't great enough to consider taking a play, however, let's look at How Smooth Rob Thomas has been lately. 5 points in the last 3 games, and 9 points in the last 7, Rob is picking things back up again this year after a bit of a slow start. The last time he played a game against Buffalo, Rob had 5 apples, and this is tempting at near even money. After all, an apple a day, keeps the doctor away. To be a bit safer, I'm going for points tonight though.
Sidney Crosby ov1.5 points VS Calgary (+170)
Sid is playing like a kid again! 11 points in the last 4 games, and I will definitely take advantage of the over here, especially with Vladar drawing the start tonight. For what it is worth, Crosby played the Flames already this year and did not log a point, but this was about a full month ago, and he was just revving up.
John Carlson ov0.5 assists VS Philadelphia (-115)
Considering that the Flyers are rostering a high school team tonight, there should be plenty of points for the Capitals tonight. Flyers have TK out now, JVR, Scott Laughton, and Cam Atkinson (still). Unless John Tortorella is able to engineer some kind of Herb Brooks Miracle coaching brainchild with this team, expect Carlson and most Capitals to be a part of some goals tonight.
Roman Josi ov0.5 points @ Detroit (-150)
Take any wins you can. Even if it is just -150, a point for Roman Josi against the Red Wings is close of a lock that you can get. In the last 10 games played against the Wings, he has 13 total points. He also has 9 points in the last 6 overall. If Ned draws the start, that's even better.
Andrei Svechnikov ov3.5 shots @ Arizona (+105)
The Yotes have the 3rd most amount of shots allowed in the league this year. Additionally, Svechnikov is coming around shooting the puck. He has hit the over 3.5 shots line in 3 out of the last 4 games. For even money, this looks very delicious.
Tim Stutzle ov2.5 shots @ Vegas (+130)
I was wrong on the Tkachuk anytime goal scorer on Monday. It was Tim Stutzle who buried the first goal of the game for the Senators. He isn't normally a strong sniper, but keep in mind that he is on a bit of a hot streak, and has been finding twine. I'm unsure Tim will do enough to score on the Vegas Golden Knights, who have been impressing this year at 15-4-1. I do feel confident that he will throw pucks on net to keep up with their offense tonight. Earlier this month, he recorded 5 shots on net (with two goals) against Coach Cassidy's group.
