Football Bets Week 8

FootBall Bets Week 8

Kurt Kuklewicz

Week 8 gives us a bit of a rest on bye weeks. There are only two teams this week, the Chiefs and the Chargers. However, there are an absolute numerous amount of injuries that have happened recently. Enough to cause havoc in your average fantasy football lineup. But with unfortunate moments like this, there is a chance of opportunity. We discuss some with today's bets.

Denver Broncos ML (+115)

Don't be fooled by the Jaguars -1.5 point line. There is actually no home team here, as the game is played in London. Mr. Unlimited is back for Denver. Surprisingly (or maybe not?) though, the Denver Broncos didn't do terrible without him last week. They at least made the game interesting. That's because Denver's defense has low-key been pretty solid this year. Denver has only allowed 115 points all season. That's only better than the Bills and Eagles (who had a bye), and the Dallas Cowboys. Trevor Lawrence is progressing this season, and Travis Etienne has now been given the lion's share of carries with James Robinson getting moved to the Jets.

Wan'Dale Robinson ov43.5 receiving yards (-120)

Great moments are born from great opportunity. Robinson had a solid 50 receiving yards last week, but the Giants now have two less players that would vulture Wan'Dale's targets. Daniel Bellinger is out for at least a little bit with a fractured eye socket (YIKES). Moreover, Kadarius Toney (the twitter hype boys #1 favorite WR) is gone. He didn't fit in, and he was deemed expendable enough to not even get a 2nd round pick back for. This is a great chance for Robinson and Seattle's defense is not very good. Fire it up! Danny Dimes to Robinson for days!

Kirk Cousins ov272.5 passing yards (-115)

Nothing says Vikings football, like Kirk Cousins inconsistent stat sheet throughout the year. One thing that is consistent however, is the Cardinals pass defense and letting up tons of yardage. They just let up over 360 passing yards to the Red Rifle, Andy Dalton! Kirk is frustrating to watch, but he's still eons of play ahead of Dalton. In fact, Jefferson alone might notch this number for Kirk. Okay not really, (I think). But I still like it enough for Kirk to play well, and thankfully it is not a primetime game.

Taysom Hill un26.5 rushing yards (-125)

Taysom is getting a ton of yards here against the Raiders for this prop. Of course, he had the 112 rushing yard game against Seattle 3 weeks ago. But this is an anomaly. Hill has not exceeded 30% of snaps all season. Also, it appears that most of his recent gadget plays has been passing or receiving. He's only had 8 carries in the last two weeks combined. Most of the time, he is featured near the goal line. It would be hard for him to break this number unless there is a big run.
