Yesterday, we won close to one unit profit, even after going 4-4. Brayden Point was a nice little play at the +175 rate for getting two Points against last night's Point-less Blackhawks. Also, how could I miss the great opportunity for a dad joke? Betting alone on humor is well worth it, as it shows. Today, I will keep it short with one-liners as we call on the great king of props to give us profit. The Profit Prophet? Despite the snippets, there was at least one day of extra work in my brain put into these bets. However, there's a birthday party for my daughter and I think I'm required to help set that up rather than ramble on for 3 paragraphs about the Flyers and Rasmus Ristolainen contract extensions... So yeah anyway, what the hell was up with that Ristolainen extension? This guy is worth 5 years at $5 million average yearly??? Have they seen his puck possession numb- oh there I go again! Just follow up on our Twitter for more info and late night bets.
Brad Marchand o1.5 points VS CBJ (+165)
6 points in the last 3 games for Big Bad Brad, and Columbus's defense is badddd. They just surrendered 5+ to the Isles, and have been very erratic with their games and performance. Werenski has been out and it's still unclear if he will play tonight. I think going over and riding the hot hand of Marchand and the top line is the proper play here.
Jonathan Huberdeau o2.5 shots @ NJ (-115)
New Jersey just got smoked against Boston, I'm not sure if you heard, but it was not pretty. I think it was a rough outing and they'll play better, but I will glady take a Huberdeau shot line at 2.5 when Florida is looking like the favorite out of the East to make the Cup. He also has great shot rates lately at 4 per game in the last 3.
Alex Killorn o0.5 points VS Montreal (-135)
Killorn plays well against Montreal with 7 points in the last 6 regular season games played. Montreal has kind of cooled off with the "hottest team in the league since Marty St Louis took over" talk. Unfortunately, it looks like the Cole Train has at least momentarily stopped as well. Jake Allen has been getting lit up, and you have to feel bad for the guy, because there really isn't much defense being played in front of him. Killorn is also on the top power-play which gives his odds of a point a boost against Montreal
Nikolaj Ehlers o0.5 points VS LA (-155)
Nik Ehlers has been our go to man lately for over bets, and for good reason. He has 4 points in the last 4 games, and 15 in the last 15 when you zoom out further. The over 3.5 shot line against the Kings is tempting too at +100, but the safer play is for Nik to log a point.
Teuvo Teravainen o2.5 shots VS Minnesota (+100)
Teravainen has 15 shots in the last 3 games played against the Wild, and he had 5 in a game against them this year. He is also scoring points at will. Minnesota has been letting up a good amount of shots lately, with 38 allowed in the last 3 games on average. This includes Philly sprinkled in between Colorado and Pittsburgh.
David Perron o0.5 points @ Calgary (-120)
Perron has really found his scoring touch this year and he's a great story for a guy that plays very consistent. He has 17 points in the last 13 games. In the last 3 games, the Blues are averaging 4.33 goals a game.
