Yesterday's parlay of both Tkachuks getting a point or greater was sadly not achieved thanks to Boston for shutting down Brady (something Bill Belichick didn't do this ye..., nevermind). We finished 2-2 with slight profits on the pick'em again. Matthew did score 2 points to make up for it, but sadly each Tkachuk was required to get one point. I'm finding that parlays are very difficult to hit, after maybe getting lucky earlier in the season when I hit two +850 or greater 3 leg parlay in back to back days. It's like playing craps for the first time, kinda understanding what you are doing, and winning $1000 from $100. You'll always think you can win, which can be very dangerous. Today, we jump back into the world of parlay with 3 featured during specific time-lines of the day; afternoon, mid-evening, and late night. There is also one game line bet if you fancy that type of conservative betting too.

New York Islanders Moneyline 1st period (+115)

Andrew Hammond (aka the Hamburglar) is confirmed to be the starter today against the Islanders. He last played a game in the NHL during the 2017-18 season, so it has been at least four years ago. Montreal is also downright terrible, but they have at least been trending upwards with goal scoring lately, with 8 in the last two games. New York likes to lock teams down though, and we have to bet against Hammond to start the game well. This game could get very ugly and I would also stay away from the 5.5 under line as well, given what can happen with the Montreal goaltending / defense alone. If for some reason, Hammond reverts back to that amazing player he once was for that 21 game stretch with Ottawa, and you believe in him, his odds for a shutout are over +1800, just for your own information.

3 Bonus Flex parlay with +500 odds

I really enjoy when I'm able to have multiple parlay in play during the day. If you're able to bet on games around the same time, it doesn't get disheartening when you are suddenly sitting with a dead ticket because your early game missed. No one wants that. Be aware though, don't tail these unless you are very brave / responsible. There are some legs that I like individually and can be broken out / split out to different bets as well. I do like Matt Barzal individually to put a power-play point on the board, and I may split that out myself.

3 leg afternoon parlay

Evgeni Malkin o0.5 points VS Carolina (-215)

Matt Barzal o0.5 power-play points VS Montreal (+245)

Anthony Duclair o0.5 points @ Chicago (-130)

+794

Anthony Duclair's line of Barkov and Verhaeghe skated the largest percentage of ice time last game against Minnesota, and this proved to be very effective with the six goals they scored. He also potted a goal and an assist last game. I doubt that they switch this deployment up much, given the great 6-2 win against one of the better teams in the NHL, the Wild. We already talked about how bad the penalty kill is for Montreal and Hammond getting the start today. Evgeni Malkin is a padding to bump this over +700 odds. Malkin is coming into this game with 12 points in the last 12 games. Freddie Anderson will get the day off as well, which is a boost to the whole Penguin offense. $6 will win $53 with this bet.

2 leg mid-afternoon parlay

Alex Tuch o0.5 power-play points @ Columbus (+285)

Artemi Panarin o0.5 assists @ Ottawa (-165)

+518

I'll keep it short and sweet here, Panarin has been dishing the puck out like a madman lately. He has 14 assists in the last 11 games alone! We have been blessed with the presence of Super-Saiyan Jeff Skinner, and he is on that top powerplay unit with Tuch and Thompson and Dahlin. I like Tucky's chances to snag a power-play point. $8.15 wins $50.39

3 leg night parlay

Jason Robertson o2.5 shots on goal (-145)

Kirill Kaprizov o1.5 points (+155)

Timo Meier u3.5 shots on goal (+120)

+847

I know I said "NO MORE" for shots on goal props on our Twitter, but we've grown up since then. Jason Robertson has a great match-up against the Coyotes. Although this has the highest odds of all of the parlays, I probably like this parlay the best. Kaprizov has been on fire lately and whatever Edmonton goalie has been playing is just hoping to survive with 6 and 7 goal performances by the Oilers offense. $7.25 wins $68.72 tonight here. Timo Meier is clipping at well over 4 shots a game in the last three games, but this is Vegas, baby! Historically, he also has a low shot rate for some reason against Vegas. In the last three years against Vegas, he only has 24 shots in 13 games, or under 1.9 shots a game.
