It looks like the roller coaster ride hasn't ended yet. After a successful 4/4 Sunday pick'em (including the bonus), we were absolutely toasted last night on player prop bets and finished the night 0/3. I was feeling pretty confident, so perhaps this was a reminder in one of our betting rules. It happens. Tuesday gives ample opportunity for betting with 9 games on the night. Let's get it!

Sidney Crosby anytime goal scorer VS Philadelphia (+145):

Earlier last week, I stated that Sid would score his 500th goal against Ottawa. However, that proved to be wrong as Matt Murray poured everything he had to prevent that from happening. He stopped over 40 shots that game. Sid has been passing the puck over to his teammates with 3 assists in the last 2 games, when he had a shot at number 500. I like the odds again, against a team that he has historically owned, and at home. It's almost like he was purposely waiting until this game. In 78 regular season games against Philly, Sid has 117 points and 49 goals. This is the perfect way to snag number 500, while simultaneously getting number 50 against the Flyers.

Anze Kopitar o0.5 PPP VS Edmonton (+205):

In times of desperation, when you need a guy to do some heavy lifting for you, a guy with a tinted visor is just what the doctor prescribed. Kopitar gets a ton of powerplay time and historically he fares very well against Edmonton. In even better news for us, Mike Smith is playing tonight as the confirmed goalie for the Oilers. Furthermore, Edmonton is around 77% percent effective on the penalty kill this year, and Kopitar loves to make plays on the extra man advantage. This is a calculated chance, but if he gets 3-4 minutes of powerplay time on ice, he is due for a point.

Columbus at Calgary Alternate Goal Total u6.5 (-135)

I made mention of this during our completed bet of Patrick Laine anytime goal scorer vs Montreal. Do not count out Columbus this year. They are playing some great hockey lately. Dan Vladar gets the nod for Calgary today, but he is nothing to scoff at. I'm looking at a pretty defensive game in the script and on paper. I don't like siding with Vegas odds on the U6, because as we know, that is the time they are always right on the nose! Give us the under 6.5 as a conservative game prop bet.

Alex Tuch o2.5 shots on goal VS New York Islanders (-135)

Tucky has 32 shots on net in the last 5 games. He also logged 3 shots during his most recent game against the Islanders this season. He also has 17 points in the last 15 games. He is also playing on the top line with Jeff Skinner, who just scored 4 goals this weekend in one game. He is also on the top powerplay. This man is a machine right now! Bet on the side of the computers... Terminator style.
