7 games for just a single Saturday is a little scarce to what we are used to. Therefore, it's tough to go crazy with a bunch of parlay bets, but honestly, that's probably a good thing. Picking the game lines does not seem very rewarding, unless you spring-load a bunch into a mega parlay or take a bunch of game / period prop bets. The king of player props returns!
Jeff Skinner u0.5 points VS Colorado (-120)
Ever since Jeff Skinner's 4 goal and 1 assist performance against Montreal, he's followed up with two pointless games against the Senators and the Islanders. Skinner has reverted back to the player we all know; very inconsistent with a few games of hat-tricks and dominant performances sprinkled in. Meanwhile, the Stanley Cup favorite Colorado Avalanche come to town after allowing 2 goals or less in regulation in 5 out of the last 6 games. You know what to do here.
Nazem Kadri anytime goal scorer @ Buffalo (+165)
Loading up on a specific game can be risky, but this feels like the odds are too good to pass up against the lowly Sabres. Kadri has been firing away with 19 shots in the last 5 games and he is definitely due for a goal soon, having not scored since 3 games ago. Earlier in the year, Kadri scored a goal against Buffalo. The goalie for that game was Dustin Tokarski, who is also starting today and does not have great numbers on the season. As long as Kadri can keep peppering shots on net, and he remains with a great playmaker like Andre Burakovsky, he has a good chance to find twine today.
Trevor Zegras o0.5 points @ Vancouver (-110)
With Ryan Getzlaf nursing a lower body injury, it was Zegras that stepped up on Thursday in a losing effort. While technically, he skated on the second line with Rakell and Milano, he finished against Edmonton with a goal and an assist. This is not bad for Zegras, as he will draw a better matchup during even strength, while remaining as the center for the top power-play unit. Anaheim desperately needs some type of points tonight, so expect the youngster to get on the board tonight from absoluete necessity if they are going to remain in the playoff hunt.
Evander Kane o0.5 power-play points @ Winnipeg (+260)
It truly is amazing that Evander Kane is playing this season, despite all of the allegations and second chances he has been involved in. Say what you want about him as a player, but when it comes to money, well... take advantage when you can. With just ~30 seconds of power-play time, in his first game as an Oiler, things have changed recently for Evander. After Jesse Puljujarvi left early due to an injury that will sideline him out for weeks possibly, Kane slotted into the first power-play as the point and logged a power-play point against Anaheim. We already talked about how poor Winnipeg's penalty-kill is when they are actually on the ice (they are bottom five in penalty-kill percentage) in a few articles this month. Definitely do not count this as a lock, but there is some good sneaky value here.
2 Pick Parlay Tkachuk Special!
Brady Tkachuk o0.5 points VS Boston (-150)
Matthew Tkachuk o0.5 points VS Seattle (-240)
+136
Matthew has the best odds to get on the board tonight, but that alone is not very rewarding to bet on. Add Brady to the list, who has 4 points in the last 3 games. He also recently fired 7 shots on net against Buffalo, and 5 against Boston 4 games ago. Seattle is a poor road team that comes in as a pretty big underdog.
