Today there are a lot of games, and we will just get to business right away. Here are 7 bets for tonight's games.
Patrick Kane Anytime Goal Scorer @ Minnesota (+215)
Kane is getting great odds against Cam Talbot and the Wild, considering that he has been scoring points at will lately. He is also averaging over 4 shots in the last 3 games. I am fairly confident he will find twine today, and this should give great padding for covering the rest of today's bets. He has a crazy 15 points in the last 7 games played, and even though he only has 19 goals on the board for the year, he is just due any day now as he tries to boost his goal-scoring into another 30 year goal. Kane gets the call on the first line with Strome and Debrincat again.
Noah Dobson o0.5 points VS Dallas (+100)
We know that Anders Lee is on a nice goal scoring streak for the Isles, but Dobson has been putting up points himself. In the last 11 games played, Noah has 12 points. In the last 3 games, Dallas has fallen off with over 14 goals against. This is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of an even line, which should be an easy point for Dobson if Dallas can't fortify its defense.
LA Kings Moneyline @ Vegas (+115)
Vegas may be 4-6 in the last 10 games, but when you zoom in, they are playing very poorly in the last 6, with just a 1-5 record. Recent losses include Philadelphia and Buffalo as well. Let's just say the obvious about the Kings. The Jonathan Quick era needs to be moved on from. Cal Petersen has 2 shutouts in the last 4 games played, and I really like his game. With a slightly boosted defense, I think the Kings could be a sneaky wild-horse in playoffs with him. Unfortunately, for the Golden Knights and without Lehner, I predict more pain tonight.
Auston Matthews o4.5 shots @ Nashville (+110)
Auston Matthews is mad. He will be back tonight full force against Nashville. I don't know for sure if he will score a goal, but I do know he is going to make his presence felt again tonight. 5 shots seems very likely. In the last 5 games, he had 4 games where he shot the puck 5 or more times.
Cole Caufield o0.5 points VS Ottawa (-155)
Some bets should not really involve a lot of thought. This is one of those examples. He's been playing amazing, Ottawa is not... Since I stated in an article last week that I took a sneaky $2 bet on Caufield to win the Calder at +6000 odds, I noted that he would probably have to go over 1.5 point pace the rest of the season to even get close to the point lead for rookies. Instead, Cole decided to keep things at over 2 points per game. 2 points in each game dating back 3 games. This is insane. Take a ride on the Cole Train again tonight with us.
Brayden Point u0.5 points VS New York Rangers (+145)
It's very dangerous to doubt the Tampa Bay Lightning, but we know that Igor is confirmed as the starter for this game. Also take a closer look at Point's performance recently. He was held off the scoresheet for points in the last 5 out 6 games. With Brandon Hagel coming in, this also makes deployment interesting. I'll take my chances he is held off again for +145. Go Rangers!
Columbus Moneyline VS St. Louis (+150)
Look, I just really like the way Columbus is playing recently (with the exception for when Korpisalo is in net). I will take them against St. Louis for today. Maybe we get Binnington and a blow-up game as well.
