New York Rangers Moneyline vs Seattle (-170)

After a classic blunder, blowing a 2 goal lead to the Wild, the Rangers were possibly screwed out of a last second tying goal that was taken off the board, cause "reasons". Personally, I thought it was a goal and clearly not just because I took the moneyline on a +125 night. I know Adam Fox is out today, but Igor is confirmed to get the start between the pipes, and it's already been discussed how solid he and the Rangers have been at home. Seattle comes in playing solid defense against top quality opponents where they even won in upset fashion against Florida and Pittsburgh, but not today. This is the lock of the day, which most certainly means Seattle wins this game 7-6. At least if it goes wrong, I can maybe take some gratification knowing Ranger fans were equally disappointed as me. Jacob Trouba is a great pickup in daily fantasy operating Fox's usual spot on this potent powerplay if you are into that type of thing.

Zach Werenski Over 0.5 points @ Montreal (-135)

Zach Werenski has 4 assists in his last 4 games, and this is a great match-up to get on the board again. Not a single team in the league is allowing more goals than Montreal on the season. They average 3.86 goals against a game. Given the nature of Werenski passing the puck lately, the over on assists is also an option at (+105), but he does have 6 goals out of his 25 points, so he's not shy at shooting.

Buffalo @ Colorado Over 1.5 goals 1st Period (-150)

While this game can get out of hand, and I think Colorado will at least score 3 or 4 goals this game, I'm not necessarily going to take a chance on the over/under in this game with counting on Buffalo to score once or twice to get over 6.5. Betting on the moneyline and even the puck line in favor for Colorado isn't likely to be rewarding enough to merit the bet. This game is likely for there to be early scoring, with a lead being padded or protected later on in the game by Colorado. Give me the over 1.5 goals in the first, with a serious chance of there being at least one goal scored in the first 10 minutes of the game.

Carolina Hurricanes Moneyline / Over 5.5 Total Goals (+125)

Jimmy Reimer is coming off a brutal game where he had a LOT of work late, and didn't quiet deliver after blowing a lead 2 goal lead in the 3rd period and then lost in overtime. I guess it wasn't a 3 goal lead this time... He gets the start against an absolute beast of a Carolina team on 0 days rest, which is actually more like 20 hours of rest. Did the dude even have time to sleep 6 hours? Did he even have time to take off his equipment? I would expect Rod having his team ready to fire the puck all game. Let them loose in DFS format!
