Even though we were 2-2 yesterday, we were slightly profitable due to the odds of Crosby's 500th career goal vs the Flyers. It is not necessarily about the number of wins you are getting, but the number FOR the wins you get. This motto will work well for this week, as we are currently 2-5. I'm sure I'll change the motto to something else entirely different, pending on how these bets go tonight. To be fair, the brutal 0-3 start was not a great catalyst. There are 4 games today only and while I do like a lot of different outcomes and events to happen, I couldn't really justify betting on a lot of things tonight. Perhaps the main reason is I feel this way is that a lot of these teams have been playing pretty well.

JACK EICHEL RETURNS! You can bet a scam special of +250 for Jack Eichel with 2+ points when we have no idea how much ice time he will log. Furthermore, for a guy who had fusion surgery or a terminator-like setup that doctors did to his neck, we have to wait to see how he takes a hit. The smarter play is to take this out of the equation. We all want Jack to do well (except maybe the Sabres), but emotional betting is never good. Look at the deployment and see what this means for the rest of the centers on the depth chart. Chandler Stephenson, who was centering the top line of Vegas for entirely way too long, is likely to be bumped to the 3rd line (he was according to yesterday's lines at practice). He also has 0 points in the last 5 games and that was while he was occasionally skating 20+ minutes. If his 5 on 5 deployment is set to take a big hit, his points will as well.
