What a ride Saturday was. If you checked out our twitter yesterday (@StatGlitchers), after going 4-2 in the pick em's yesterday, we also managed to hit a 2 leg +719 parlay ticket and a 3 leg +1112 parlay ticket in the same night. It's true, I did state in an earlier article that I would avoid posting some longshot parlay and power-play prop bets, because they can be very random. However, I have been playing the player prop pick em's from our articles as parlays in most cases when they are all close to starting at the same time (because no one wants to bust a 3 leg parlay at the first game at 1PM, unless they all play at 1PM). Today, I come in with just one individual pick 'em, that has great odds on its own. I will also post 3 additional parlay tickets for tonight, with a small bonus. Do what you please: tail em, watch em, ignore em, split em out, add or subtract what you don't like, fully invert them, whatever makes you happy!
Jason Robertson anytime goal scorer (+170)
After potting a fresh hat-trick on Friday night against the Winnipeg Jets, we come in riding the momentum of Jason Robertson and the 1st line against the Minnesota Wild. Robertson has 5 goals in the last 5 games. He did have a 2 point game against Minnesota earlier this year (both assists), but also shot the puck 4 times. The truth of the matter is that Robertson is a high percentage shooter; 19.1% this season, which is insane. When he shoots more, we can expect the puck more likely to go in. It's simple math. I heard something funny from a Twitter account this week that made me chuckle. "There are 3 things in life that are certain- death, taxes, and Cam Talbot letting up 4 or more goals" -Michael Amato. 4 goals against in the last 4 games, and 5 goals against in the game before that, that is some kind of awful funk for Talbot. Even if Talbot doesn't play today, The Wild have given up 41 goals in the last 9 games, or roughly 4.55 goals a game. I cannot stress this enough. This team is playing very bad defense right now.
Parlay Madness!
1PM batch of games:
2 leg parlay
Nico Hischier anytime goal scorer (+250)
Phillip Danault o0.5 points (+100)
+600
Nico has a pretty good situation today. He either plays the very erratic Jordan Binnington off of 0 day rest (and he is just one play away from being fully unhinged mentally), or he plays the struggling Ville Husso, who has given up 3 or more goals against in the last 4 starts. He also has 16 shots in the last 4 games, and 8 goals in the last 10. Danault has been heating up lately, with 9 points in the last 10, and faces Buffalo, who are still ripe for the plucking of points. My suspicion is that an assist is most likely for Danault (+205), but he has an even split 16 goals and 16 assists on the year.
7PM batch of games:
3 leg parlay
Anthony Cirelli o0.5 points (+115)
Chris Kreider o3.5 shots (+120)
Calle Jarnkrok u0.5 points (-165)
+659
Anthony Cirelli is skating on the top line with Stamkos and Alex Killorn, and he does have 9 points in the last 10 games against Chicago, including 4 points just last year. Kreider faces Winnipeg, who have let up 34, 35, and 40 shots against in their last 3 home games. Keep in mind that he is still in the running for the Rocket Richard trophy. Calle is bumped down to the 2nd line, and also taken off the 1st power-play unit.
8PM batch of games:
2 leg parlay
Jonathan Marchessault o0.5 power-play points (+320)
Rickard Rakell o0.5 points (-105)
+720
The Senators have let up 5 power-play goals in the last 3 games, including 2 to the 32nd overall Coyotes yesterday, who sport 12.6% on the whole year. The Golden Knights have baffling power-play deployment, but Marchessault does lead the team with 12 power-play points. Rakell is on the top line with Zegras and Milano and he scored two goals in the last meeting with the Sharks.
Game bonus:
This is just a little fun 4 game parlay, $3.75 bet I drew up to win about $100.
4 leg parlay
St. Louis @ New Jersey u6.5 goals (-115)
NYR Moneyline (+105)
Anaheim Ducks -1.5 puck line (+150)
Dallas o3.5 total goals scored (+175)
