There's a pretty solid schedule tonight, but remember to be a little careful. Right now, we are at the point where certain teams may rest players for a playoff run. This can make betting on underdogs a little more interesting. Although, the favorites in most games have been winning overwhemingly recently. Tonight we play some player props and a special 3 game parlay.

St Louis Moneyline @ Colorado (+145)

The line has been shifting on this a lot today, but the Avs are on a rare slump recently. The team looks a little different to me without Rantanen, let's say less fluid offensively. He was held off the ice for practice this morning, for what its worth. The Blues are on a tear offensively, and they come into this game tonight with a 12-0-2 record in the last 14 games. While the masses flock to the Stanley Cup favorite Avalance, I am taking the road less traveled tonight. Let's not forget that the Avalanche already have the "Z" by their rank in the standings. The chances for a President's Trophy are fading fast, and while they have the West on lock and need to get more healthy, I can't see them taking a lot of huge risks moving forward. The Blues on the other hand can realistically get home advantage in the first round still. They are a great team at home, and this will be well sought after.

Matty Beniers ov0.5 points @ Vancouver (+110)

Give it up for Matty B! 5 points in 6 games played this season. He looks like a pretty strong prospect to me. I know that Vancouver is on a pretty strong run recently, but Thatcher Demko is day to day, and Beniers is getting too strong deployment to overlook a point above +100. Ever since Marshawn Lynch became a minority owner, this team has been going places... But I cannot for the life of me understand why the Seahawks didn't just run the damn ball.

Logan Couture ov0.5 points VS Anaheim (-135)

The Sharks possibly fulfilled everyone's dreams (except Vegas fans) of having the Golden Knights eliminated from making the playoffs for the first time ever in franchise history. Technically, they didn't ruin them all-together but they severely hurt them. Tonight, they can't really play spoiler to anything, but Anaheim has been getting demolished by every team they play recently. Logan comes into tonight's game with 3 goals in his 2 match-ups this year against the Ducks. He plays well against them historically too. I would think a goal is a great chance, but in New Hampshire, where Draftkings is the only online sportsbook, the odds aren't as good as Fanduel so I won't touch it for Logan tonight.

Matthew Barzal ov0.5 points @ Washington (-135)

As a owner of him during fantasy hockey playoffs, I can say that Barzal hasn't really been lighting the world on fire. However, he has been pretty solid at least. He has exactly 1 point in 6 out of the last 8 games played. Samsonov has been pretty average lately and he gets the nod tonight. In the last 6 games, he is averaging over 3 GAA, including just 1 quality start and 1 game where he was pulled.

Brad Marchand ov0.5 points VS Florida (-170)

Florida has been beating up their opponents, but the Lightning showed them that their defense and goaltending can be vulnerable. He had a cold stretch in mid-April, but Marchand has points in the last 2 games with 3 total. He also has 5 points in the last 5 games against Florida.

Matthew Boldy ov0.5 points VS Arizona (-165)

Michael Amato said it best on Twitter. There are 3 certainites in life: death, taxes, and Matthew Boldy connecting with Kevin Fiala for a goal. The Wild draw the Arizona Coyotes and get some familiar faces back including Foligno. I've seen the connection of Boldy and Fiala on at least 4 goals in the last 5 games. Arizona is the worst defensive team in the league in the last 10 games. They are getting smoked every night. There is a great chance that the Wild score 4 or 5 goals tonight, but I like the odds of Boldy getting involved in at least one goal tonight better than the team's output of greater than 4 or 5.

3 game parlay

TB Lightning -1.5 VS Columbus

Oilers / Penguins un6.5 total goals

Predators Moneyline

+655

I usually do best with these when I don't put a lot of analysis out there, and so I will keep it short and sweet. Tampa is on an absolute tear and Columbus is just a bump in the road for them. The Oilers and Penguins have both been getting awesome performances from their goaltenders, and the hottest goalies, Mike Smith (fantasy playoffs MVP Mike Smith) and Casey DeSmith face other tonight as well. The Predators just came off a win against Calgary last week, and they face them again when they really need a victory. Chalk up the 3 for tonight's game parlay play.
